  I have stayed at Spruce Cabins many times over the past few years and have had nothing but great times there. The cabin is always clean and well stocked, firewood right outside your door, a friendly staff and they have always welcomed my dog. But I called last week to book a cabin for one night in the middle of the week. My wife and I like going on a Wednesday and Thursday to avoid the weekend crowds. The girl said there was no way they would book just one night because it is their busy season. Well school is in and it was the middle of the week and summer is over. The leaves are not turning and there are no festivals going on. I didn't understand. She said to call back the following week on Wednesday to see if they had booked the cabin and if not maybe they could accommodate us. I called on Monday and talked to a different person to see if cabin 15 would be available and she flat out said no. The owner Terri has always been so nice but I guess she would rather have it empty than rent it for 1 night. Needless to say we were disappointed since we have stayed there so many times in the past. I have recommended them to literally dozens of people in El Paso. I guess I will have to think twice before trying to book with them again. It's sad when you are loyal to a place of business and they turn around and slap you in the face.

  This lady will not rent me Dusty's Place, she is a old racist woman. I offered to pay in advanced, two months, she says it's not available since it booked , then I asked what month aren't you booked, then she then told me to lodge somewhere else, she don't my take my kind. I recommend to anyone avoid this place and other one she owns Daisy's Lodge.

  This was a wonderful place to stay, very clean and charming. It's warm, the beds were so comfortable, quiet, quiet, quiet. The people at the front desk were courteous, pleasant, and they stand by their word. Will definitely be back.
